    Hi Martin,
Wow, that’s great, seems to be working perfectly!

    Thanks so much guys

    Hi Alec,

I agree that syncing back to Vimeo could be problematic.
I think regular updates would be preferable however I’d be happy to just pull the data once if that were a simpler option for your coding.

Ideally, my workflow would be to have all the video info/data in one place (vimeo), using FV Player as the site container, simply displaying all the info from Vimeo. In this case I would only have to setup playlists based on a vimeo ‘showcase’ and all the info (thumbnail, video length, synopsis could be managed in one place.

    Hi Martin,

    That would be great.

Yes I keep all my video content details stored in Vimeo, ie. synopsis, categories, tags, etc and I’ve just been creating individual posts with a single fv player code for each video then manually copy/pasting all the required info into each post.

However if there is a way to retrieve the synopsis from vimeo in the ‘Vertical Season’ playlist this would save a significant amount of time for me. As well as help simplify my my site structure.

    Hi Maria,

I have another follow up question:
How can I manually write/paste a synopsis into a playlist created from a vimeo showcase? There only seems to be one item in the list

    Hi Maria,

    Thanks for the quick response.

That would be a great function to have alongside the vimeo playlist feature.

Is this something that might be implemented in the near future?

Or is it something I could possibly work around with some extra coding?

    Hi there,

    I’m having a similar problem.
I have a showcase imported from vimeo that loads fine however it is not showing the synopsis next to the thumbnail like it shows in the demonstration:
    https://foliovision.com/player/demos/playlist-styles

Is there a setting that I have missed?

Still waiting on a response from the WPMobile developer

In the meantime I discovered the same issue with the plugin WordPress Photo Gallery however I managed to fix this by checking “Load FV Flowplayer JS everywhere:” in the FV Player integration settings.

I’ve added a screenshot of the developer elements before checking the box.

Is there a JavaScript that I can paste into the WPMobile plugin (also attached a screenshot of the Custom JS option in WPMobile.

    Thanks very much
Unfortunately I’ve uploaded the zip file and activated but the problem still remains :(

    Yes. WPMobile.App – Android or WPMobile.App – iOS

5 years ago in reply to: Player load stuck on three dots in WPMobile App

    WPMobile.App – Android 7.0.0

This is a response I received from the WPMobile Plugin developer:
    ———
    “This is a user-agent problem.

The app have this user-agent: WPMobile.App – Android

Even if I load the website with this user-agent without loading the app interface I get this error:
html5: Unsupported video format. Try installing Adobe Flash.

html5 is supported in the app and Adobe Flash is useless now, this is a problem on the Flowplayer plugin..”
    —————
Does this make any sense to you? Is there any way I can make my videos play again?

The Native theme enqueue script like any other WordPress theme and doesnt interfere with the other theme option.

WPMobile Plugin has an option to preview the output of the app in wordpress through the browser as well as on android and ios devices. Yes, the videos do play here but I was hoping that some of these error codes might shed some light on what is happening on the android devices.
I’m quite a novice when it comes to JavaScript or coding so I apologize for my ignorance but I don’t really know how to tell if the WPMobile plugin is loading the JavaScript files. Is there something in FV Player Docs that could guide me?

So the wp mobile devolper seems to think it’s a problem with either Flow player or vimeo. They also had the same issue on an android but I’m not sure which platform. I’ve tested on a Huawei Y7 and a Sony bravia TV, both of which used to work. I’ve tried reinstalling Flow player and wp mobile and all plugins, WordPress and php are updated. I’m at a loss. Particularly frustrating because this is one of the first features I tested before updating the rest of my sites features to work around these two plugins.
Any suggestions to narrow down the source of this issue would be greatly appreciated? Is it possible to securely send you a login to my wp mobile app so you can see the problem directly?

Okay, sorry about that. That must have been our old developer..kind of got left in the lurch recently and wasn’t where they left off.

Thanks for pointing me to the new download..that seems to have loaded the pro version now.

However it looks like I’ll still have to inquire with my web host in regards to the cURL as I’m getting this message: “FV Player Pro: Your Vimeo access token appears to be invalid, please fix it to ensure your videos keep working: cURL PHP library missing!”

    Thanks for getting back,

Is there anything I can fix or request from my web host to alleviate the problem in the meantime?

Also, how do I access Pro Support? I purchased the $125 package but have never been able to access Pro Support when I login

    I’m having the same issue.
Tried to install the zip file and wordpress just shows this message “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

However I’m not getting any email and now can’t access my dashboard :(

Thanks for getting back but I’m not sure how this helps with adding a vimeo channel?
