Hey Martin … sorry for the delay! Here is a page my player is set up for Q.S. on
    …

So this player has the HLS in the top position as a full HD 1920×1080 4000BR
I also have the RTMP stream as the same version and location
its the same setup as before except now I enable the Q.S. and renamed the files fullhd,hd,sd,mobile and the hint shows everything working

Before with the old version phones had many stalls etc. now it plays perfectly, except for firefox/mobile

My CDN (Scale Engine) serves up HLS,RTMP, and RTSP (legacy?) Streams automatically from the same file location…I think when I tried adding the RTSP in an additional field the player would not play

Let me know if you would like a pic of the player field setup screen also I logged in with my gmail not my contact/website email can you push the response to my contact like the others or ill keep this page open and check back.

    Thanks
    Steve

IF I have HLS and RTMP in the fields will they both act as Q.Switching?

Thanks Martin.. are you sure if I deactivate and delete the plugin will the players I have on all my pages still be there with my videos? when I delete a plugin it says are you sure all files will be deleted? How does it keep files if deleted. I have all my pages and site finally done except for the playlist test, and scared to have to redo all my videos again after finally getting this finished.
    Thanks
    Steve

Hey Martin thanks.. but I’m not adding anything into the mobile url field what I mean is that the new playlist you created with the new option of rtmp isn’t working

I have a player set up with my hls and rtmp in the original input fields and it plays. Then I add a playlist and add a new hls and rtmp and the player stops working. It shows both videos but when I try to play either of them, neither of them plays.. the three status circles in center of player just keep rotating around and around and my urls are correct and in the right fields. Or are you saying I can only have either a rtmp or hls url in playlist but not both?

    Hey Martin,

so I tried testing the playlist. My intent was to use the playlist for different quality versions – mobile video feature. The player worked with just the original video but when I added the playlist of one additional video it didn’t play and original video didn’t play.

I tested the urls and everything is correct I think i also send a report from the player but for some reason the report was laid over top of my splash image and mostly disappeared over the black portions of my splash image.

Hey Alec and Martin.. thanks you guys def have excellent support!!

I have links to different quality versions of the video in our site. Our HD-LOW versions use the RTMP and HLS urls and works fine. But I was trying to setup my mobile version using HLS and RTSP but I cant get them to work together in one player.. is that possible? I tried it with HLS in video input then mobile input with RTSP in video then mobile but both cant work together. Is there a way to get them to work together or will I need to create 2 links one to Android and one to IOS? I would rather have one link to mobile that could play both RTSP and HLS

    HD 1280×720 RTMP/HLS
    High 720×400 RTMP/HLS
    Med 640×368 RTMP/HLS
    Low 480×270 RTMP/HLS
    tried this
*Mobile 320×180 HLS/RTSP* – different configs and doesnt work?
or can I only do this?
    Android 320×180 RTSP
    IOS 320×180 HLS

thanks guys I just need to get this site open then I will work on re encoding with keyframes and do one version with variable bitrate stream

    Thanks for the awesome support

I also tested the RTMP and HLS setup through my android phone and it doesn’t play. In my CDN it says the RTMP is flash, the HLS is IOS/ROKU, and the RTSP is Legacy Android. When I add the RSTP to additional video field it still doesn’t work. Or should I put the RTSP in the mobile section?

I also setup my grid gallery lightbox and tested it with youtube videos and it works, I tried adding the FVflowplayer short code but it didn’t work.
    Thanks

So I cant make a playlist hmm that might be a problem as thats the reason for all this.. I will contact CDN to see if I can get the plain stream mp4 url you mentioned earlier. Do you know is it considered acceptable or common to have a bunch of players on one page all with different chapters of movie. Thanks

I will ask when I get back later then I will start to attempt the playlist and let you know thanks alot

    …

Where do I put the RTMP stream URL for playlists? When I click the +playlist it only opens up another video and image block.

    OK thanks Alec and Martin!

So first I checked if the cursor over shortcode and clicking add player works.. yes thanks.

So for adding the MP4 video on HTTP – wouldn’t this mean that that video would be hosted from my site? I am using a CDN other then Amazon S3 (www.scaleengine.com) and they only give me the RTMP/HLS/RTSP URLs… also an embed code for JW Player (used for testing or embedding (no license).

I don’t want to upload my video to my site for a few reasons bandwidth and security. So am I just stuck with using those 3 RTMP/HLS/RTSP URLs?

    thanks
    Steve
