Thanks for the quick response. I am still not having any luck. I’ve tried both values at 15 and 9, again clearing cache each time and checking it in incognito mode. It still does not allow to skip and shows the same —– and keeps counting.
Thanks Martin. I have tried setting them to 14 and 15 and swapping them. Have cleared cache each time. It is not fixing the issue for me.
Ok great – I will send this ad. Just to note that it’s not unique to this one ad though. We have 5-6 running and have been running the same ads for months now. The issue just recently started occurring for all ads.

The issue also occurs in Chrome and Firefox.I am using the FV Player Pro beta7.4.11.727.beta with FV Player 7.4.9.727

Hello, I am awaiting approval/response to my last question posted 6 days ago. I am not sure if it got lost?
So I purchased the VAST plugin to go with FV Player Pro. I’m having some issues though…We are just serving our own ads hosting them on vimeo currently. No ad network or tags. How would I go about specifying the ad to play mid roll? I only see options for putting in a VAST URL which from the docs is for an ad network.
Also, can I specify different ads to show every 3 minutes midroll? I see where you can put multiple entries into the time value but it seems that would just show the same ad?
Is there a better way to go about this? All of our ads for our ad partners are hosted on our own Vimeo Pro account.

Ok thanks for the info. Currently we just use FV Player Pro and only show ads from our own sponsors and specify the video ad ourselves for each video. Would we be able to do using VAST or is that only for showing ads from ad networks?
In a perfect world we would have a 30-45 minute video with video ads inserted every 5-7 minutes throughout the video like commercial breaks. These video ads would be specified by us in each video and at what point you’d like to show it.
Ok thanks. For the most part they seem to play well for me but occasionally I’ll get a short stutter. I’ve had a few users complain about it though and they claim that casting from other websites doesn’t have the issues.

Ok thanks. So I logged into WP and did not see the API limit message in the dashboard. Then I went to the URL you suggested, it just took me to the FV Player settings page, no special message was displayed. I waited about a minute or two and then went to the FV Player video page to see if thumbnails were there but they were not. Also when I went to this page to see the list of videos then the API limit message shows up.
Thanks, I’ve checked the box for scan video length and it’s been several hours now…Every time I check back it just gives me the API error.

Export link is below. I am not setting splash screen for any videos, was hoping it would do that automatically since there are so many. Would it fix the problem if I just set a default splash image for all videos? I’d still prefer for each video to grab one automatically if possible.
I am the developer on the project if you could pass some tips my way I’d appreciate it!
Update on this…So today I made no changes to the site, never cleared cache, and did not add any new videos. I logged in just now and saw the too many API requests message. It was gone earlier today…seems to reset itself over time.
Currently we have 163 videos but will be adding more. We are converting slowly from DZS…There will be about 1000 in total. (PS Unrelated to this post, there’s not a quick way to convert all of those is there?)
