Just so you know. I use the free JW player. I will pay someone when I find a player that will do all I need. Actually now I can stream from cloudfront. But what I need is a player that can also be seen on hand-held devices. That’s how I stumbled upon this blog, hoping that maybe you had solved that dilemma. Good luck with your FV WordPress Flowplayer progress. Sorry if you took my statement wrong. I just thought a dollar would be a good investment for you to add features without needing to rely on somebody elses Amazon S3 account.
Zdenka, Can I ask why you do not just open the account with Amazon S3? It costs next to nothing. I have 60 videos and my bill last month was $1.03 It seems like these features that people want would add a lot of value to your player. I jumped to JW because it would do most, but not all, of what I needed. The small investment seems much better than asking somebody for access to there protected files so you can create a better plugin than others. Just my thoughts.
Zdenka, Did you get any takers to offer their account up so you could integrate the S3 protected videos?
