Unfortunately, my budget can’t even dream about custom development for now. Last try and last argument. I can’t think economically in enormous markets but I will try.
Yes, language learning educational niche may be also taken by FV Player (Pro). FV Player was the first player on the market (WordPress) made for educational purposes as well. For example, the AB loop feature may be used not only for guitar learning but language learning as well. Interactive Transcript also was the feature for any language learner with a faster and precise rewind function. But Interactive Transcript is still not that “interactive”. Honestly, there is no real interactive feature. But choosing, adding, managing and displaying terms, translations, definitions for language learners is the missing interactive feature of FV Player. Perfect for adding and displaying terms for websites that have glossaries and definitions. Also perfect for difficult cases of vocabulary use or discourse analyses. After adding that feature Interactive Transcript will be in my opinion real and 100% Interactive Transcript and FV Player will stay the educational player for WordPress of all time not only for guitar learners or for similar learners. I am certain in modern days the number of language learners exceeds drastically the number of guitar learners. I hope I made a picture of a potential market not taken yet by a particular (educational) player for WordPress. Adding definitions (translations) manually or automatically via different APIs are a great new redesign of the Interactive Transcript feature. The problem with Transcript area is that when adding a new term to a glossary user must see the video (context) as well (the whole “multimodal thing” that helps (even required) to acquire new words). That said, the captions area will be the best place for adding, displaying or editing terms, words, expressions, etc.
Then users will be able to comment definitions, rate them, etc.
The terms can be linked to a particular user profile in BuddyPress and LearnDash and it will be a great learning community.Hello

Hi,The problem with the subtitles is that they are added/removed dynamically to the dom element with JS, while the transcript is added with PHP.
Our parser works on the server side, so to make it work, the FV player must have used the pre-generated and parsed text which would include the tooltip markup.
Additionally we’d need to make sure to run the JS code responsible for displaying the tooltips on-the-fly as soon as new set of subtitles appear on the screen. So to make it work we’d need at least:
– FV player being able to parse the subtitles on the server side
– it should be able to display the HTML markup for the tooltips
– there should be a JS event each time new subtitles appear, to allow us to activate the tooltipsBest,
MarcinHello sorry for late response.
I mean both. You can see implementation in captions area here https://ororo.tv
If captions will be anaibled then users can go with captions to edit or add their definitions. If transcript feature will be ON then users will work in Transcript area. But I think that in Transcript area CM Glossary Tooltips work fine. Integration with captions is missing. I am already in contact with CM MINDS devs.
Thank youGood idea to have interactive transcript titles as a setting !

It is ok. Thank you.
I found the right link thank you for your response.7 years ago in reply to: PeepSo Incompatibility IssueI purchased FVPLAYER Pro a while ago, but right now custom development is to expensive for me. For starting to put my ideas into the website (noncommercial), I really need FVPLAYER shortcodes to work in PeepSo posts. Any chances? Thank you
