Splash Image Showing Up Above Player

The splash screen image is automatically adding itself above my player on WordPress. Any idea why? This was not always the case.

Hello John,

We apologize for the late reply.

Try enabling Settings->FV Player->Integrations/Compatibility->Load FV Flowplayer JS everywhere (for more information, please consult: https://foliovision.com/player/getting-started/page-builder-player)

Also, you can check if FV Player inserted a featured image and delete it to see, if it helps.

Lastly, what theme are you using?

That didn’t seem to change anything. Where am I able to see if there’s a featured image?

I am using the Author Landing Page theme from WordPress.

Hello John,

please edit your post and remove the Featured Image using the editing interface.

FV Player will not try to set the Featured Image again for that post. If you use the classic WordPress editor, you can do so using the Featured Image box.

If you use the Block editor (Gutenberg) then please check this video at 2:31: https://videopress.com/v/AMJqN3ia?at=151

If you never want the Featured Image to show on top of your articles, then it’s better to remove it in your theme.
