Playback on multiple browsers not working

I’m getting multiple inquiries of playback issues.

Some have been on Mac some on Windows. Best I can tell none have been mobile device users, so that’s a plus.

Similiarly, I’ve seen it from Edge and Chrome, so nothing sticks out.

I’ve personally tested in all major and past versions on Mac using browserstack.

I’m just not sure where to go from here. The reports seem to increase during live streams but we’re also seeing them on VOD content served by cloudfront.

Is there any suggestion on how to collect front end errors in WordPress that might help us understand what’s going on?

Hello Robert,

What exact error are your users reporting? Are they unable to start playing a video or does the issue occur while already playing a video?

What service do you use for the live streaming?

Are you using the signed URLs (tokens) for your VOD and live streaming?

Are you using encrypted HLS streams?
