RTMP live stream from WMV : play button not working after pause button clicked

Hi, I have a video player which is streaming a live stream from a RTMP connexion serving the video stream in WMV format. I know it’s not the best format… but this is what I have now.

The problem is when we click on the play button on the first time, everything is working. But if we click on pause, and then on play again, nothing happens and an error message appear :

Adobe Flash is disabled for this page, click player area to enable

Shortcode used :

[fvplayer rtmp="rtmp://video.xittel.net/ctbtv" rtmp_path="ctbtv" width="925" height="561"]

Oh nice this little “Related Posts” section below… just found an article I didn’t see before about RTMP format :)

Added param live=”true” in the shortcode an now it seems to work fine!

Hi webmarka,

Thanks for pointing this out. The RTMP streams should be working without that param, so we’ll take a look into it.

Hello webmarka,

if it’s a live stream, it requires that parameter. It can also be set using the shortcode editor if the Post Interface Option “Live Stream” is enabled.

On our end the stream is very slow. Well, it was yesterday, but now it seems to run fine.
