hlsjs-lite unsupported video / video not properly encoded

We have just recently found an issue for playback on both mozilla firefox and chrome. The protected video streamed through FV player has the issue, the self hosted video does not have any issue for playback [non FV pro player].

It was encoded with Bunny /Coconut/Digital Ocean process. I encoded a new video today and same issue.
I tried to rollback the plugin to older version, since it was recently updated, it did not change the error for playback.

Thank you for reaching out to us!

We’ve received several reports of this nature concerning ” hlsjs-lite unsupported video” reports on encrypted HLS videos after updating to WordPress 6.2.

We’ve found that WordPress 6.2 utilizes a new way of sanitizing MySQL queries, which temporarily broke encrypted HLS playback.

FV Player Pro 7.5.34 is out and it will fix the issue. Please, update the plugin and let us know if fixed the issue for you.
