Recently I get inquiries from surfers on the site who have problems watching video. They receive an error message:
“html5 video not properly encoded”
I enclose a screenshot so you can see better.
I use the site only for short videos. And they are all in mp4 format.
The only thing I changed is that I inserted an advertisement before the video. Since I posted the ad there have been more comments on issues but the issue was also before I posted the ad.
How can this be arranged?

I do not know if this happens only on mobile or also on desktop.
Most of my users are from mobile.
I do not have this problem but my users have and it is a serious problem because my site is based on videos that are uploaded every day.

Can you please provide a link to your website with such a problematic video on it for us? Also do you have any additional information about what type of mobile device and web browser is connected to the issue?
Any additional info could be beneficial for us.

All posts in this category are with video within the post.Like I said with me on both desktop and mobile everything works well.
Only for a large part of my users it does not work.Mobile users come to me through a dedicated app for the site. Until yesterday they were able to watch videos without issue. Only from yesterday they can not see.

We haven’t made an update to the player which should break playback. So it’s likely a conflict between your ads and your mobile app.
Could you pick up our service “Make your theme work with video” to enable us to properly troubleshoot this on your site?
