Can’t get FV WordPress Flowplayer to work. Test page is “http://dickeson.net/?page_id=314” ; password (so it doesn’t show up in menu) is “test”.
First instance has video and splash image uploaded to WordPress gallery; second instance was manually uploaded to “www.dickeson.net/video/” ; third instance is copied code from another WordPress site of mine where FV WordPress Flowplayer is working, http://www.papayaworks.com/video/.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

I think the theme should be compatible – it has the <?php wp_footer(); ?> call in the footer.
I worked around by uploading to YouTube and using a YouTube player instead.
We have a similar issue on IE9, all other browsers work. The video simply never loads and a black square shows up in its place w/o controls.
this is on thesis 1.8.5 wordpress fv flowplayer 1.2.17

we never had issues with IE9, but you might want to try save the page HTML into a file on the server and troubleshoot by removing all the other scripts.

plugin does not work.
installed fine
shows and plays example.flv on setting page.
when I use the tool it shows pop-up
get this with insert on page FCKFVWPFlowplayerPlaceholder
when I use on page [flowplayer src=example.flv]
player shows. when started get 200 stream not found…etc.
reloaded several times on other wordpress sites and get the same results.
try to install your plugin on a wordpress site yourself. Really it does not work properly. It appears all is well until you try to use it. I have tried to use it on several wordpress sites with different themes and NONE work. Not even the example.flv. Get error code 200 on everything.

our plugin works with WordPress 3.4.2. Just double check that the src parameter in the inserted flowplayer shortcode is correct. Perhaps you are using some non-standard path for your uploads and the path is not correct.

Any plans on updating the plugin from flowplayer 3.2.3 to the current 5.3.1? There’s been numerous updates to address issues with compatibility problems w/ IE9

Are you using any weird popup message code for the video? Are you using our WP Mobile Video Player extension?
At any rate, we are currently working on Flowplayer 5 integration, so we will add any fixes into it.

No I am not using any pop up message and I haven’t installed the mobile video player. Do I need to in order for it to work? Right now once I upload or add the video link nothing happens when I click insert. The popup screen just sites there.

then this has to be a conflict with some other plugin.
You can try to check your JavaScript error console, there is probably some error (instructions here).
If this is a time sensitive fix which you need for your work, I would suggest you use our Pro plugin support. Or perhaps this issue won’t occur in new FV WP Flowplayer (with Flowplayer version 5).
