    Hello

    I have fv player installed on the latest wordpress site and using Amazon s3 as the data source. The videos work well at times and not at all at others with the 404 message displayed in errors when using the developers console in Chrome browser. The message prior to that is video not found. Here is the link to the video page https://www.aikidooflondon.com/membership-join/membership-registration/ It will be a members only one later.

    Hello ih25,

    since your website is using Cloudflare I think that it is also caching your HTML code. So whatever video link is in the page HTML it has to be valid for long enough – longer than the HTML cache expiration time.     If you buy FV Player Pro you can also activate the “S3 Ajax” option which means the video link is automatically refreshed for every playback session – so you can cache your HTML for as long as you like that way.

    The cloud flare expiration is set to 4 hours as suggested and I have set the FV Player expiration to 10hrs which is more than double. I have a cache plugin which works for site ground hosting called sg optimise which does not have a time setting but I have excluded the page where the videos are played. I am still getting the same errors even though the videos are all ok. Does this need time to enable? Otherwise I am interested in purchasing the pro version but would like to see it working properly with the free version first.

    Hello ih25,

    please ensure that CloudFlare is not caching your website for too long and it should work. If you are using two caching layer it’s making your setup harder to use and troubleshoot as you can see.
