Hi team,
I’m getting a download button on my video player in fullscreen mode when using Chrome in Windows 10. Obviously, this is disturbing because it means all my intellectual property can now be downloaded.
How do I remove the download button? I’ve read the previous related threads and cannot find a solution.
Here are my system specs:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/62.0.3202.94 Safari/537.36FV Player Version 6.1.2
FV Player Pro Version 0.9.9

Click on the video at the top of the page and then make it fullscreen (in Chrome) and you’ll see a download button on the bottom right of the screen.

I checked the video in your link in Win 10/Chrome 62, but I was not able to see the download button in fullscreen. I also tested it in Chrome 61 and 63 Dev, plus in Win 7/Chrome 62 (just in case), but I was still not able to see the button.
Could you please capture a screenshot of what exactly do you mean?

I’m not sure what is causing that you see the native Chrome player, however, we are going to implement a solution that will hide the download button on desktop and mobile devices as well. It could be released today, but more likely on Monday. I’ll let you know when it’s available in a new update.

Hi Bruce,
This issue with the download button was actually fixed in the FV Player 6.0.5.15 update (check the changelog for more information), so updating to the actual version of FV Player should fix it.
