When I setup a player with an audio (mp3) file that is (in this case) 1 hr 49min long, the displayed duration is only 5 mins.
This inorrect duration is shown in the title and also on the initial player bar. Once the audio starts playing the correct duration is show on the player bar.
This is a problem as the viewer of the page will think the audio is only 5 minutes long until they press play.
I have tried converting the mp3 from VBR to CBR in case this was the problem but no change.
Can anyone suggest a solution please?

If you go to https://mediaforeveryone.com/all-of-us-strangers-2023/ and scroll down to All of Us Strangers Audio Files (or use the Table of Contents link), you will find two audio files showing lengths of 5:09 and 5:31, respectively.
If you click on play for either of them the correct length of 1:45:38 shows on the play bar.

Hello Michael,
Since the video/audio files are often stored on a remote server we only check a small part of the file to determine the actual video/audio duration.
The getID3 library does not seem to do a good job with the MP3 files.
Could you please reinstall FV Player from this link? https://foliovision.com/downloads/fv-player-8.zip
Then try re-posting one such MP3 file and you should get the correct duration.
