Amazon S3 signed URLs not working

Cannot get this to play mp4’s stored on Amazon s3, no matter whaat I do following your indocumented instructions to the letter. Makes no differtence what I do. It’s been weeks now….

Hi nate,

could you please check the user in https://console.aws.amazon.com/iam/home -> Users?

Please click the user to get the details, then check if you use the right Access Key. Also the User Policies should include:

“s3:Get*”,
“s3:List*”

and

“Effect”: “Allow”,
“Resource”: “*”

Hi Martin,

I did get it working in the end. It was just the bucket name in the settings, which had a prefix that was not part of the name, that stopped it from connecting.
