Hi,
It seems I’ve discovered a problem, there’s this plugin named “Toolset Types” it’s a free plugin and is available on wordpress.org. Now the problem is that i cant seem to use FV Player and Toolset Types.
Specifically the Add Button for fv player is not working, BUT it will work whenever i de-activate types..
I have already ask them, but yet to get a replyi have already tried to delete all plugins,move them to a diff. folder, changed theme to the default ones, reset db. and still the problem persist.
I could just install fv player on yet another wp site, activate it and copy paste the shortcode.. that’ll work but that ain’t gonna solve the problem.

Hello Glogic,
so you are using Toolset Types to create custom post types. Are you changing the custom post type edit post screen somehow with it?
How does our button misbehave? We insert its script on wp-admin only if the URL matches post.php or post-new.php. Does it match in case of using Toolset Types plugin?
Working edit_form_after_editor action hook is also important. Does it execute?

Martinsorry for the long delay.. no sir, i currently only use types for custom taxonomies… my current project won’t need custom post types.
it just dosen’t work. i click and click, but then nothing happens.. well other than that, everything works fine … in any case, i think there’s no need to fix this. the shortcodes are easy to remember, already got ’em memorize… thanks
I am experiencing the same issue. I also have types installed. If I click the FV Player button on the editor with the Types plugin active nothing happens. If I deactivate Types, the FV Player button works normally. Types is an essential component of my site.

are you saying that our button stops working in the moment when you install “Toolset Types”, or only when used on custom post types?

MartinTypes was already installed. However I did test on a brand new WP install with a fresh unmodified Types plugin and got the same results as below.
As soon as the plugin is activated the FV Player button functions as follows:
– Create a new Post, Page, or Custom Post –> FV Player button functions normally.
– Save then edit or edit an existing Post, Page, or Custom Post –> FV Player button does not function.Deactivate the Types plugin and edit a Post, Page, or Custom Post –> FV Player button functions normally.

thank you for posting the details. Could you please reinstall the plugin from https://github.com/foliovision/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/archive/master.zip and let us know if it works for you now? The fix I added works for us, but I want to make sure it works for you as well before doing a new release.
I like you avatar by the way, that was my most favorite game when I programmed in QBasic.
