Please make a “10 Second Fast Forward” button.

Use the “10 Seconds Rewind” button well.

It was good to use in JWPlayer. I would like to apply for the next update so that I can set this button as an option.

thank you for reaching out to us!

Several users have shown interest in this feature and our team is currently in the process of discussing it. We will keep you updated.

We are considering two ways of making this work. Either we can just add another button, or we can do what YouTube does – when you double-tap to the left part of the video it goes 10 seconds back and when you double-tap on the right part of video it goes 10 seconds forward.

Like the other Playerskin on the mobile.
I hope it is an intuitive update.
This part is so uncomfortable.
See the screenshot.
I hope (1) Rewind (2) Play (3) Fast Forward will speed up the intuitive update.

I was looking for this feature myself too. Is there perhaps any news on this 10 sec. forward button feature, if it will be implemented and if so when you expect it will be there?

Hello Craig,

we added this featured for mobile to foliovision.com website. You can double tap on the left or right hand side of the video to seek back and forth by 10 seconds.

I think the last issue is that on iPad it sometimes zooms in on double tap – but that’s more issue of our website that we allow iPad to zoom in.

You can get this improvement even right now if you reinstall FV Player from this link: https://github.com/foliovision/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/archive/master.zip ?

To do that you will have to first deactivate and delete the current FV Player plugin you are using. WordPress will warn you that you might loose settings and data, but it’s not the case with our plugin, no settings now videos will be lost. Or you can just replace the plugin files via FTP.

Hi Craig,

We are disabling zoom in on mobile with FV Player as working player controls are much more important than zooming in and out of the screen.

Hello Craig and Alec,

unfortunately I was not able to disable the doulbe-tap to zoom on iPad reliably with CSS nor JS. I play the video on https://foliovision.com and as I double tap on the right side of video to seek forward it sometimes zooms in.

So it seems like the only solution is the header meta tag:
```
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, user-scalable=no">
```
However that cannot be set dynamically as the video starts playing.

Just see these updates from you guys now. Updated the plugins, tested it and it works! Awesome!! Thank you so much. This plugin keeps amazing me.
