    Hello,

Currently, I have the video shortcode at the top of my page but want the chapters to appear below a text box that I have under the video (see screenshot). Any help would be great!

    Hello John,

You can move them with CSS, it’s under .fv_fp_chapters

Some of these chapters position adjustments could be in plugin options for sure, but we don’t want to present an endless list of options. We would prefer to figure out what are two or three display modes which our users really need.

    Thanks,
    Juraj

I don’t see how CSS would help. It’s not a matter of changing the display mode or margins, I need to be able to choose where the chapters appear in my posts.

    For example:

[fvplayer src="https://vimeo.com/364633936/f8aae1b4b5" splash="https://i.vimeocdn.com/video/820114978_1920x1080.jpg?r=pad" chapters="https://palmerkippola.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/test.vtt" caption="Wisdom for Healing with Shani Robins, PhD"]

    Overview:
The importance of food in autoimmune diseases cannot be overstated and yet is often hard for people to understand.

    What's Inside:
**I'd like to display the chapters here**

I don’t see how CSS would achieve this?

    Hi John,

Oh, for sure. Sorry for misunderstanding.

I’ll discuss it with our development team and I will get in touch with you in the close future with more information.

    Thanks for using our player,
    Juraj

    Hello John,

if you want absolute freedom about how are the video chapters displayed on your articles, perhaps you should try to use the video link feature: https://foliovision.com/player/basic-setup/creating-video-links

That way you could create links to various parts of your video and put them on some text which you add to the desired place.

Downside is that this data is not directly bound to the player and that it won’t highlight the active link.

We could have a feature to show a part of FV Player only, such as:

    [fvplayer id="100" show="player"]

    More text...

    [fvplayer id="100" show="chapters"]

But so far we didn’t had similar request, as far as I remember.

    Thanks,
    Martin
