Can encrypted HLS streaming through Cloudfront be used with an own ISP?

I have been advised to use encrypted HLS streaming via Amazon S3 and Cloudfront.
Is it also possible to skip S3, because I have a good ISP here in the Netherlands, where I would like to stick to.
And thus to use the encrypted HLS streaming via Cloudfront (and not via S3) while hosting the movies with my own ISP? And thus saving Amazon’s data traffic costs? My own ISP has pricing including data traffic, that’s why I ask this.

Hi Erik,

I think that it could be done, but if you would want to encrypt the stream in Amazon Elastic Transcoder, you would have to use S3 for the output. CloudFront can be set to serve from custom origin domain though. You would also have to generate an encryption key in AWS to use it with FV Player.
