I need to enable users to use the scrub bar to select a specific playback time. However, with FV’s version of Flowplayer the timestamp does not appear — see the attached image at http://screencast.com/t/AxcBKryus6vX for what FlowPlayer is capable of — is there a way to enable the display of timestamps as the user scrubs along the video time bar?

Yes, it certainly can. I’ve looked around, but we haven’t documented the feature right now but as soon as our lead developer Martin gets back his summer bike trip on 7 July, we will.

I don’t see any timestamps being displayed on the secondary timeline. Not sure what this is intended to do?

AB roll allows your visitors to loop part of a video. I thought that if you are interested in showing specific parts of a video, AB roll would be a significant tool in your toolbox.
We’ll get back to you as soon as Martin gets back. The same code and fucntions which works on Flowplayer should work on FV Player if you feel like experimenting over the weekend.

sorry about the delay, since core Flowplayer changed the license keys, we are thinking about how to make the upgrade process trouble free for our users. That is slowing us down.
We can provide FV Flowplayer 6 for your in our beta program though. You can install FV Flowplayer 6 from here: https://foliovision.com/downloads/fv-wordpress-flowplayer-6.0.2.zip This version is set to get updates from our own WP plugins repository, so we can make updates for you if needed.
If you need to roll back to the current live version, you can get it from WordPress.org.
