Update old videos and see video title

Hi,
i have in about 1000 videos on wordpress this kind of shortcode:
[fvplayer src="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cd6Od7MggP4" splash="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Cd6Od7MggP4/maxresdefault.jpg"]
Videos appears with a standard splashscreen i set:
https://www.pianosolo.it/3-consigli-per-migliorare-al-pianoforte/
but no title.
How to update all video thumbnails and all shortcodes to see:
1) the correct title on all videos
2) the video thumbnail and not the standard one

Hello Giulio,

could you please elaborate? What is the “standard thumbnail” that you do not wish to display?

Do you want the splash screen and text to be taken from the YouTube video, or do you want to display the splash screen and title you set in FV Player and have them override the YouTube elements?

Hello Maria,
“standard thumbnail” is the splash image i set from the backend, in the plugin options.

I would like to view the preview image of the videos from YOUTUBE and not only from the splash image. Unfortunately in almost all the videos I have the splash image.

Also I would like to insert the video title automatically, without having to manually set 1000 videos.

Can you help me?

I think i have too… the old plugin shortcode… like this

Hello Giulio,

sorry for the late response.

Are you saving it in postmeta or post content?

If it’s being put in post content then the splash screen should be appended automatically if you have configure the API for YouTube: https://foliovision.com/player/video-hosting/youtube-with-fv-player#Connecting-with-Google
