    New to the player and in honesty still in demo mode but ready to purchase.

    I have set up a player on a page with a Cloudfront HLS URL. My plan is to live stream to the page next week but client is sharing the link so I have to have the landing page ready.

    Basically, I want any visitors to the page beforehand to see the poster frame only. Is there anyway to remove the “We are sorry, currently no live stream available” and crossed out circle so they just see the static poster frame?

    When I go live I would want the page to then Autoplay and start the stream.

    Hello gwilson,

    as of now, it is not possible to do that. However, this is not the first time we got this request and I think it is worth re-opening this discussion with my team.

    However, there are some challenges connected to this, so no promises. I will forward this to the development team and we’ll get back to you.

    Hello Tony and Gwilson,

    I see we should improve that live stream loading to not look like there is an error. It seems to me we need to provide a way for you to set the date when the stream is going live. That way there could be an useful count-down until the stream really starts. We built that for the Vimeo live videos already.

    Tony, please let us know how you would like to tweak the message, perhaps it could be the new default. Currently it only has the translation hooks on it.
