Max height with width overflow hidden

Hello FV,
Have been trying via CSS to get the FV Worpress player to scale video by max available height (100%) and the width :auto with y-overflow hidden. I have fixed size option unclicked in the parameters. Been going in circles for hours to no avail. Could someone please send me in the right direction.

Sorry couldn’t figure out how to edit my post. I wanted to add, I am trying to style it via my child-theme style sheet. Perhaps the problem lies there?
