Using the free version of FV Player, we were able to upload a video and the accompanying .vtt file and it showed the closed captioning within the video as well as the ‘CC’ icon in the lower right that allowed you to toggle that on and off. When we upgraded to the Pro version, we followed the same steps and now it shows our captions as an interactive transcript below the video (which is okay), however, it completely removed the in-screen Closed Caption as well as the ‘CC’ button. How do get the captions to show on the video screen?

Please check, if you have Settings -> FV Player Pro -> Video Transcript -> Separate subtitle disabling option unchecked.
Also, please check, if you have the .vtt file inserted into the Subtitles field and not the Transcript field of the shortcode editor of that particular video.
