Hello Kemal,
we are a bit behind on our schedule on this. The complication is that we want to find an existing lightbox plugin for WordPress which would work with our FV Flowplayer plugin, so there would be a single library for lightbox effect instead of two.
If this feature is important for your work, we can accelerate the development if you can purchase our pro plugin support or our FV Flowplayer license: http://foliovision.com/wordpress/pro-install
Thanks,
MartinHello Gary,
sorry about the delay, I was on a holiday and your message slipped through.
If you buy our FV Flowplayer license, or if you have one, you can become a member of our beta testing team and see this in action in FV Player Pro.
Quick demo: ‘http://martin.domainearl.com/2014/05/fv-player-pro-lightbox’
Thanks,
MartinHello Gary,
FV Player Pro was just released as an addon for licensed users of FV Flowplayer. In the moment when you enter the license key into the plugin, the Pro addon will auto-install.
If not, check the plugin settings screen for retry.
If everything works, the shortcode editor will have the lightbox checkbox in it. We are preparing the documentation.
Thanks,
MartinHello Debbie,
the playlist thumbnails are set to 120 pixels wide and 80pixels tall. This can be changed in CSS.
We could make it an option as well, but this is something to think out carefully, as there are million and one ways of customizing playlist look and feel, so if you have a good suggestions, we would be happy to hear about it.
Please let us know if there is anything else.
Thanks,
MartinHello Cribeiro,
the documentation was posted: http://foliovision.com/player/how-to-use-lightbox
If you have a license, just put in the license code into the plugin and that will auto-install the pro-extension: http://foliovision.com/player/user-guide#license
Thanks,
MartinHi Randy,
We’ll get back to you Monday with some suggestions on how to make this work. WE definitely do have playlist functionality. Here’s a long topic about playlists to get you started.
We’ll definitely provide more support to get this to work right.
Cordial regards,
Alec
Thanks so much for the SUPER fast response. Just so I don’t make things more complicated – I thought I would explain what I’m trying to do. I’d like to have 5 bullet points on a page with a “view” link next to each one. Each “view” link would show the appropriate video. So – no playlist but really just a simple popup video from a hyperlink.
Thanks again.
Hello Randy,
we created a demo here: https://foliovision.com/html/video-lightbox.html
Notice the link in the first paragraph. Clicking the link opens a video in lightbox and all lightbox videos together form a gallery. Is that what you are after?
Thanks,
MartinHi Martin,
I also just recently purchased the Pro version and this text link that launches the video player in the lightbox is exactly what I need on a couple of pages.I tried following the source code on the demo page, but it is not working. I can tell that I probably need to have the player hidden on the page, but not sure on the steps youe used to achieve this.
Can you advise how to create a working text link like on this demo page.
ThanksHello Lance,
I’m leaving for a week of vacation, so I’ll be able to add this feature at the start of September.
If you know enough PHP you could put up a filter on the_content with high priority, where you would change the HTML of the lightbox image link to show up as an image, but it would be too tricky for a quick fix.
Thanks,
MartinHello Daryl,
the documentation can be found here: https://foliovision.com/player/how-to-use-lightbox
Please let us know if you are having any issues.
