1) I have purchased fvplayer by seeing the feature of DRM text, but there is no way to control the time for which DRM text flashes. Its of no use when someone stealing the video from an external camera recording the computer of screen. DRM text is not visible so people willing to steal are not repelled at first hand. There is no point in playing a sleeping role and wasting recourses to catch the thief afterwards.
I request you to guide me how to increase the duration of visibility of DRM text.
2) All our lectures are recorded on white board, which have a light grey or off white background appearance, so i need to change the colour of DRM Text also.
Please send me the exact instruction how to achieve these two at the earliest. Without these DRM features this player will be of no use to me in preventing Mobile copy of any video sold by corrupt minds.

I apologize for the delayed answer.
Unfortunately, there is currently no way to change the duration nor the color of DRM texts. We have indeed decided to design our DRM text feature on the “catch the thief later” philosophy, as you put it, instead of repelling the viewers from downloading in the first place. However, your issue with the current way the DRM texts are set up in our player is reasonable, thank you for bringing this to our attention. I will forward this to my team in order to see, whether we can come up with a suitable solution for such issues.

we talked about this and we would like to have 2 presets for the DRM text. One would be the current form where it’s hard to notice any appears in random corner of the video.
The other could be visible at all times and change position less often. I think we can just keep using some similar half-transparent font color to get started and see how it works for you.

we have added a preset setting for the DRM text which lets you use the Watermark mode in which the video overlay is always present. With the Flash preset it only appears for 1 or 2 video frames.
To get this new feature you have to switch FV Player Pro to Beta (here’s how https://foliovision.com/player/basic-setup/switching-fv-player-pro-to-beta) and then update to the latest version (7.4.38.727.beta). You can also grab a fresh ZIP from https://foliovision.com/my-licenses and switch to Beta afterwards.
