Conflict with W3 Cache Plugin….

Hi,

The videos work great in the FF browser with the w3 cache plugin enabled however they don’t work in the Chrome android browser on my phone. If I disable the w3 cache plugin they do.

How can I resolve the conflict?

Hello James,

are you using the JS minify/combine? We started using it in WP Rocket and we noticed issues as well. We need to figure out why our player scripts have issues with the minify/combine process.

In the meantime please exclude these from JS optimization:

/wp-content/plugins/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/flowplayer/fv-flowplayer.min.js
//cdn.foliovision.com/wp-content/plugins/fv-player-pro/js/fv_player_pro.min.js

Hey Martin,

Thank you very much. I added those two files to the “Never minify the following JS files:” in the minify settings in W3 Cache.

It seems to have done the trick. Videos now play in android Chrome with the cache plugin enabled! :)

Hello James,

could you pleae removed FV Player and FV Player Pro scripts from minify exclusion for a test? We believe it should work now.

We use WP Rocket for this and the core library in it was improved and it handles our scripts without issues now.
