Change the colour of the buttons

[Solved]

Foliovision › Forums › FV Player › How to … › Change the colour of the buttons

  • Debbie 11 years ago

    Hi,

I’m checking out plugins for a client’s Amazon S3 hosted videos. I’ve installed the free version on his WP site. I love the playlist and the way it advances to the next video.

I do have a couple of questions

    – is there any way to get a lightbox effect?
    – is there a way to change the colour of the “play” arrow/button – the “full screen” and “next” buttons in the top corners? Because the background is white (screencaptures) these buttons are not visible.

Are these features available with your paid version perhaps?

    Thanks for your feedback.

    Hello Debbie,

thank you for your interest in our plugin!

    1) Lightbox effect will be part of FV Player Pro which we will be releasing soon. Currently it’s in beta testing stage. If you buy our license, you can become a part of your beta testing team.

    2) Are you sure you are referring to FV Flowplayer? Our buttons have a shadow which makes them visible on white backgrounds. See the first video at 24 second here: http://foliovision.com/2014/03/wordpress-video-playlists The top right corner is white for a moment, yet the full screen button is visible.

Our playlist also currently doesn’t have a next/prev buttons, but it could be added.

    Thanks,
    Martin

    Hello Debbie,

here’s a quick demo for the lightbox feature: ‘http://martin.domainearl.com/2014/05/fv-player-pro-lightbox’

    Thanks,

    Yes, it’s FV Flowplayer. :)
The only way to see the mouse movements is to do full-screen, and with the background as white as this reply form we type into, they’re not really visible to a user (unless you already know they’re there).

I really like how the next video in the playlist automatically plays.
I love the look of the lightbox! That would be ideal (instead of full screen). Any idea when the release date will be?

    Hello Debbie,

I’m sorry, I’m not sure if I understand. If you could just play the first video here: http://foliovision.com/2014/03/wordpress-video-playlists

And skip to the 0:24 second, you should notice that the video picture is all white in top right corner. Then if you move your mouse over the player, that will cause the player controls to appear. And they should be all clearly visible, including the full-screen button.

If you are interested in making sure the controls are visible all the time and not just when you move the mouse – we are working on adding such option.

FV Player Pro is to be released tomorrow. It will become available to all the licensed users automatically.

    Thanks
    Martin

Thank you for your kind attention and replies Martin.

My client gave me the go-ahead to purchase the FV Player Pro, which I did today. I’m just in the process of creating my thumbnails! :D

    Hello Debbie,

FV Player Pro was just released as an addon for licensed users of FV Flowplayer. So in the moment when you enter the license key into the plugin, the Pro addon will auto-install. If you already did, just upgrading the plugin will auto-install the pro extension.

If not, please check the plugin settings screen for retry.

If everything works, the shortcode editor will have the lightbox checkbox in it. We are preparing the documentation.

    Thanks,
    Martin
