So clicking the upper left “link” text button on a video in a playlist and then say texting said link to a friend, that link will work with non-iphones but on iPhone (safari) it gets stopped, resting on the first video (with YouTube thumb instead of splash). When clicked to watch it goes black and audio plays while loading animation goes on. Tapping on it doesn’t do anything more allow controls to show. Tapping on another video in playlist shows that thumbnail but the previous audio continues and the new video doesn’t not play nor any controls show. The page is locked into the entirety of the audio from original video link. We had to add a bit of wait because of the YouTube videos and the way their iframe API behaves.

I just have to tap to un-mute.
Please make sure you purge your website page cache or optimization plugins cache after applying these updates.
Now I’m updating to iOS 17.5.1 in case the issue is there.

Tried this with a friend on their iPhone and same issue. I wonder if it’s a US versus Europe iPone thing? (Assuming you are there). Have yet fond a non-phone friend. Lol!
