Autoplay can’t be disabled (Ionic framework)

Foliovision › Forums › FV Player › Bug Reports › Autoplay can’t be disabled (Ionic framework)

  • Punith 4 years, 10 months ago

A wordpress site has many pages and in each page is embedded an Amazon S3 video. FV player is used to play these videos. An ionic framework app is built over this website and none of the code works to disable the autoplay for these videos during revisit. All the videos Play simulatenously in yeh background. Is this a bug?. It works well on the website but doesn’t work inside the app.

    Hello Punith,

    Thanks for reaching to us!

So, if we understood properly you have Autoplay only once option turned on and your videos keep on playing in the app, right?

Can you please send us a link to your website so we can check the issue hands-on?

If your videos also simultaneously play at the same time, please check if you don’t have the Multiple video playback option turned on in your settings.

    Thanks,
    Juraj

    Hello Punith,

what code do you use to disable the autoplay on revisit? Do you use the FV Player Pro feature? https://foliovision.com/player/basic-setup/autoplay#autoplayOnlyOnce

Or do you actually mean some other issue, like that the video keeps playing even though you switch to some other article?

    Thanks,
    Martin

    Hi Juraj,
The plugin works great on the website. I have an android app built over my wordpress website using ionic framework. The videos play on the app using the fv player from the website.
    I have issues here.

I don’t have control over the videos they autoplay as soon as the page is loaded. They don’t seem to follow the settings of the fvplayer on the wordpress site.

Kindly find the issue here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G61Ivu2RkI4

    Thanks,
    Punith

    Hi Foliovision,

I am using FV flowplayer basic. I will go ahead and purchase the pro version if it has an option of disabling the autoplay. The videos keep playing even when I switch to other articles. Even if the other article has a video and I play it then at the background the old video plays as well.

None of the fvplayer settings work on the app. They work perfectly fine on the website but not inside the app.

    Thanks,
    Punith
