Hi,
i’ve some problems with a linear ad not showing up.
I tried
https://servedbyadbutler.com/vast.spark?setID=6464&ID=175543&pid=67465
with https://developer.jwplayer.com/tools/ad-tester/?playerversion=8 and the overlay can be seen. If i use the Foliovision ad tester no image appears.
Does the FV ad tester show linear media or is there a compatibility problem?

Hello Florian,
I can see that it only plays with JW Player. It doesn’t play in the Google ad testing tool either: https://developers.google.com/interactive-media-ads/docs/sdks/html5/vastinspector

Does Flowplayer have any more detailed error logs around 2.98s — ad-playback-error? We tested it using a Flowplayer VAST tester and for linear media, it was throwing an error because there was no defined preroll linear media. Just wondering if you have, or can get any further detail on the error?Cheers,

Do you think you (or flow player) can help with an error log. Or is it easier to change to google dfp? do you have a list of tested adservers that will deliver overlays?

I can confirm that it works on my end too.
We have a list of sample VAST tags which is a good place to start looking to the ad network company, but we haven’t updated that for a while and a lot of the links no longer work. So we will do that.

I inspected the ad HTML and I can see there is no link on the image. Also closing the ad and recalling it works.
