Hello,
I am not able to get VAST (video) ads or PopUp/Overlay Ads to display on mobile devices. I have tried changing multiple settings but nothing has worked thus far. Both the VAST and PopUp/Overlay ads will display when viewing videos on computer, just not on mobile devices for some reason.
However if I remove the VAST Midroll time the VAST video will run as a Pre-Roll ad but when I put in a time it no longer works?Currently I am using:
FV Player Pro Version 7.4.32.727 (Beta)
Vast Version 7.4.10.727
Silent Start – have tried with and without – no change.Any suggestions or trouble shooting recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Please see the links below. The first video has an ad set to display at :30 sec into the video which appears when watching on desktop but not on mobile. The second link has a preroll ad that displays both on mobile and desktop but if I set it to appear as a mid-roll it will not work on mobile. The videos are hosted on Vimeo and ads served via Ad Butler.

I am sorry to inform you, that mid-roll ads are not supported on mobile devices.
You can test it by viewing and comparing our original mid-roll demo both on a mobile device and on a desktop browser:

the issue with midroll ads was fixed in FV Player VAST 7.4.15.727 released in March.
So unless your mobile device is iOS below version 13 it should work for you. Some other restrictions might apply too, like if the ad is a static ad unit (not a video) and it’s too big to fit into the player size on mobile.
But it seems you are on FV Player VASST 7.4.10.727.

Thanks for the follow up. I advised told to install the older version due to ad display issue with the newer VAST 7.4.15.727 (see ticket https://foliovision.com/support/fv-player-vast/troubleshooting/vast-ad-only-appears-in-the-upper-left-corner-of-the-player).
I will try loading the newer VAST 7.4.15.727 version to see if this resolves the issue or if it will go back to only displaying ads in the upper right corner of the player?

I checked that thread and I see there was some conflict with your theme. We made some suggestions:
Could you please try to switch your website to some default WordPress theme to see if the issue is present also there?
The sizing issue was related to some jQuery fullscreen plugin on your website.
But it appears to me we didn’t get any response about these issues from you.
So I would recommend you put up the latest version as I was mentioning in my last message and then if there is some issue let us have a look. We will see if there is some specific issue in your case and if we can make a general fix for it.
