table structure in database

    Hi there!

Just installed your nice plugin FolioPress WYSIWYG, Version 2.6.8.7.
And i noticed in my WordPress database that i got a bunch of new tables as expected. But the naming of the tables where “just”:
    “kfm_new_directories” up to 13 tables, last “kfm_new_users”.

Normally a installed plugin use the wordpress installation table structure/title and adds_kfm_new_users, so it’s like:
“wp_roger_kfm_new_users” that way i know the table belongs to wp installation wp_roger.
I have like 10 sites and different wp inatallations using the same database, so if i’d like to install your nice plugin on another site/wp installation i guess it would either write over my first installation data or give me an error?

Took me a while to figure out what site installation these tables came from… :)

My suggestion for next version is a rouitne that renames the tables and fix in the code wherever needed so it finds the new tablenames wp_site_tablename…

Kepp up the good work! :)

    Have a nice day!

    Rodge

    Hi Roger,

You are welcome to contribute and test a fix if you like.

    Thanks!

    Hi again! :)

Oh I’m a “regular user”, not a coder that could pull that off, i wish i could though… :)

    Thanks for your prompt reply!

    Have a nice day!

    Hi Roger,

If you’d like to file a pro support incident, we’d be happy to accelerate these upgrades. Foliopress WYSIWYG is freeware and we’ve put many hundreds of hours into it. Strangely people still prefer the broken and overly complex WordPress image posting system. The WordPress text editor has gotten better but I still prefer our version, it’s much more resilient to complex posts.
