Ads Post-roll no playing

Hi, I have purchase the FV Player Pro yesterday and installed on my site. The player looks good and like all the features in it.

However, I am having problems with playing a Ads Post-roll at the end of the video.

I have tried several settings for many hours and couldnt get it to work.

I have re-installed a brand new wordpress installation with nothing but 4 plugins:

1) Askimet
2) Loginizer
3) FV Player
4) FV Player Pro

I am just keeping everything simple and am using the default 2021 wordpress theme.

This is the bare basics.

The Ads Pre-roll plays well and works fine. But the Ads Post-roll does not play.

Hello Hari,

it seems you have checked wp-admin -> Settings -> FV Player Pro -> Sitewide FV Player Defaults -> Disable Playlist Autoadvance. That’s what’s stopping the playback to continue with the post-roll ad after your main video.

We will fix this, but please try to uncheck that setting to see if it helps.

Hi Martin,

Thank you very much!! Yes, that worked. Once unchecked the “Diable Playlist Autoadvance”, it works now.

The Post roll Ads are playing now. :-)

There is one minor issue and I was wondering if it’s also in the settings.

When I have the Post roll Ad, when my Ad is played from Bunny.net URL, there is no issue when I click the “skip” button. The Ad stops and I get a blank screen.

However, If I have the Post roll Ad as a Youtube video and when I click the “Skip” button, the video does not stop. The video keeps repeating in a loop.

I have shot a short video to show and explain the issue more clearly. Below is the video link:
