I am testing the player with newly setup wordpress 5.2.3 using default Twenty Nineteen theme.
It seem that the Gutenberg video block is not using the fv player even after I tick Integrations/Compatibility > Handle WordPress audio/video:
When I disabled Gutenberg, I can see the fv button beside media and I can upload with no problem.
Am I missing any settings on my setup?

I was not able to reproduce the bug with that WordPress version and theme.
There is a FV Player block for Gutenberg too, does that one work for you? We are improving that one too – making sure it previews the video properly.

We are actively working on improving our Gutenberg integration (and integration with other page builders – Gutenberg is more a page builder than editor). We’ll get this right. We’ll have a bit more time to work on this after 10 October.
Martin, when people are in Gutenberg now perhaps they shouldn’t get the normal FV Player button, just the Gutenberg block? It seems a bit pushy to have both there. On the other hand, it might be confusing not to have our editor button above the editor.
Let’s have another look at this together.
