Hi Guys, Ken here. I had you fellows make the playlist at the top the the video player for me a month or so ago. I finally got the new site launched a few days ago, and I received an email from a subscriber that can’t get the videos to work on his computer. This is what he wrote:
“I am unable to play the videos from members section. I get the error:
html5: unsupported video format install Adobe Flash. I do have adobe flash installed. I even tried uninstalling, downloading and installing adobe flash again but I get the same message. I have no problems with other videos or You Tube, they are all working fine. I have tried both IE and Firefox. With Firefox I get the above message. With IE I get a message “loading……” but it never stops and the video never begins. Can you please help??”I ask him for details about the computer he has, and this is what he wrote back again:
“I am using a Dell laptop with Windows XP, IE8 and Firefox 41.0.2. To me it seems the video is looking for Adobe Flash Player but either launching something else or can’t find it. Other sites like You Tube are finding it and videos are playing there no problem. The flash player shows as Adobe 19 ActiveX.”
I have no idea what the problem is, but I’m guessing it’s his old XP system that is causing the issue. Can you guys give me any advise on the subject? Thanks.
Also, I mentioned to you while you where working on the playlist that the slowdown button did not appear on my youtube videos. You said you were going to look into that, but I never heard back. Have you guys got that working, and if so, do I need to re-embed my youtube videos to make it work?
