Smart TV Fullscreen

Hi,

I did not test myself but some customers that use our VOD site said that the videos wouldn’t play full screen on a Samsung Smart TV. I’m using the latest Flowplayer 6 plugin version and would like to know if you know anything about this issue.

Basically it appears that the videos play fine but once you hit the full screen button, nothings happens and doesn’t go full screen.

Could you send us some sample pages? How are your clients getting the videos to the Samsung TV? Via which application?

Hi,

they are using the Samsung Web Browser app to browse sites and watch videos.

Hi Miguel,

The Samsung web browser is not meant for streaming videos, especially full screen. Apparently you should create a Samsung app for that purpose.

hi Alec,

i am having same problem, youtube, putlocker all site used to work fine one i hit ful screen button, but now i can’t watch any of them in full screen. when i run youtube in web broweser i can see full screen button is disabled.

Hello Jay,

do you mean that YouTube blocked the full-screen functionality for Samsung TVs when using web browser?
