Site with streaming video that can not be saved to harddisk in any way?

I want to create a website showing my movies, only available for members of the site.
Can this be done in such a way, that nobody can save the movies to their harddisk,
nor fetch them later on from their Temporary Internet Files folder?
I want the members only to be able to view the movies, not saving them in any way!
I have an ISP where I can store the movies on my own server, I also can store them at Amazon.

    Hi Erik,

There is, unfortunately, no 100% protection of any content that is online. There are however plenty of security measures you can use. We wrote this short article about those that our player supports – Protecting Video from Downloading.

The best thing you can do right now is to use the encrypted HLS streaming (FV Player Pro required) hosted on Amazon S3 and delivered through CloudFront. The encryption will make it very hard to download the video and even if a user would manage to do that, he would need the decryption key to watch the videos. You can read more about HLS and how to make the most of it in this guide – Using HLS With FV Player.

We also offer a simple feature that will watermark your videos in a way that it will be barely visible during the playback but can be found when checking the video frame by frame. The feature is called DRM Text and can be used for proving that you are the original source of the content if someone decides to screen capture it.

    Thanks,
    Eduard
