List of contents:
DRM Text is a new feature currently available for the users of FV Player Pro. It will help to prevent users from screen capturing of your video content by marking it with a barely visible overlay box, that will randomly appear in of the corners of the video player. The DRM Text box will contain the IP address of the viewer, his username (if he's logged in), the actual date and time, and the site's name.
The DRM Text appears only for a fraction of a second in regular intervals (every 3-4 seconds), so it's really hard to spot with the naked eye, but it will be recorded by a screen capturing software and therefore imprinted into the output, where it can be easily found when it's checked frame-by-frame. Although this feature will not protect your video from being stolen, it will help you to prove that you are the original owner of the content.
Activating the Feature
To activate the feature, go to Settings > FV Player Pro > Pro Features and check the box DRM Text. Everything else will be set automatically and the feature will be activated for every video on your website.
If you want to set it individually for each video, go to Settings > FV Player Pro > Post Interface Options and check the box DRM Text. The option will appear in the shortcode editor in the Options tab.
How DRM Text Looks
As said earlier, DRM Text is hard to spot, so here is a screenshot:
