FV Player Compatible Theme & SEO Plugin

Hi,

I am looking for a compatible theme and SEO plugin for FB Player.

For theme I would the title and Meta to be below the video player similar to YouTube Google’s latest update has delisted many videos from search due to it not being the main part of the post.

For the SEO plugin to recognize FV Player’ videos and create video schema markup automatically and create a video sitemap. I know that FV Player creates a video sitemap and schema markup but it is lacking a few things.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Jovan,

I wish FV Player could just output the video above the post title on the single post URLs, but there is no standard way of doing to. Some years ago it seemed that the WordPress post formats might be a way of achieving that, but that feature got abandoned and it was never really a proper standard anyway.

Maybe we could find a way of making it work with the block themes.

Please let us know what’s missing in our video sitemap or Schema.org markup. We are open to suggestions.

I figured out how to put the video on top by using a custom meta box where I insert the short code. The page is an Elementor template. I achieved this using Crocoblock’s JetEngine to add the custom meta box.

For the schema markup I would like to see an interactionStatistic where it counts views. InteractionCounter
interactionType

Can we achieve this since we already have stats for FB Player?

Hello Jovan,

I see that some markup like this could work:

<div itemprop="interactionStatistic" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/InteractionCounter">

  <meta itemprop="userInteractionCount" content="1000">
</div>
```
I added it for upcoming FV Player 8.
