My controlbar does not display and there is no way to stop the video. It does not display even on hover and when the video is clicked it does not stop playing. I have controlbar=’show’ in the shortcode. I have deactivated and deleted the plugin and reinstalled it from a different source. I have tried 2 different browsers on 2 different computers. The controlbar is present on my mobile device. Any suggestions?

1. Have you tried FV Flowplayer on a different native theme on your site?

I have some more suggestions for you if you’d like a DIY fix.
There some information about what appears to be the same issue in our FAQ. Look for “I installed the plugin, inserted the video, but it’s not working, only a gray box appears.”
You could also search for OptimizePress in the forums for a similar case.

I have had the same symptoms, and must manually right-click and select “Show Controls” from video’s context menu. My debugging from Firefox inspect element on the video led me to models/flowplayer-frontend.php to add this conditional, after $autoplay == true:
if( $controlbar = ‘show’ ) }
$this-ret .- ‘ controls=”true”‘;
}All is well now. Is this a legitimate patch to include?

Please check step 4. in our installation guide, I believe there must be some issue with your JavaScript, like duplicite jQuery libraries: http://foliovision.com/wordpress/plugins/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/installation
