restrict wp-admin access by IP address + encrypted HLS video

I set up fv player to play encrypted HLS (using aws). Everything was working fine until I restricted wp-admin folder access by IP address: Only my IP address can access to admin folder. When using my IP, the videos play fine, and as soon as I move to an other IP address, the videos stop working.
I suspect FV player uses some files in this folder (wp-admin), maybe for the encryption key. Can you please help fixing that?

Hello elbadred,

when you restrict access to wp-admin, you must whitelist wp-admin/admin-ajax.php.
