We are making an educational website. I am using your option “Stores the last video play position for users, so they can continue watching from where they left.” and a redirect at the end of the video to the questions. We need to force them to watch the whole thing without skipping ahead so all video controls except pause/play and fullscreen are disabled.
IF they get the questions correct, it works fine. However, if they miss the questions, we need to send the student back and require them to watch the video again.
My problem is if my test student has watched the video, it just takes them back to the end so they can’t watch again and the redirect doesn’t work anymore to take them to new questions.

You can play the video and reload the page at any moment – the video will continue playing where you left the page (where the reload happened). However if you watch it until the end, it will reset the position and the video will play from the beginning.
I tested the same thing logged in (the position is then saved to user profile using Ajax and not into local storage of browser) and also with end of video redirection. But I was not able to reproduce the issue.
I was using Google Chrome 68.
However in Firefox 61 I was able to reproduce the issue when testing logged in and with the end of video redirect enabled, so we will get this fixed.

The videos are NOT resetting the position to the beginning. That is my problem. Each video is doing something different. I’ve set up the videos on the following pages:

you can login with student account (redacted). click the links above or “section 1” on the main menu.if you miss the secret word question, it should force you to watch video again and then redirect to get a new question. words for section 1 are apple, lemon, orange, cherry, 2 are mouse, bird, dog, cat, 3 are ladybug, butterfly, ant, worm
we need to get these videos set up correctly to play once through and redirect, and then if they miss the question to watch again all the way through and again redirect to the quiz page. There are 11 sections total and the video should be on the page with similar name to those above… /section-4, etc.
I was testing on Internet explorer 11.0.9600.19100, update 11.0.75 Section 1 video, skipped to the end and then redirected. Section 2 did start over at the beginning and worked properly to redirect at first, but then gave me the same error as section 3, and the next time skipped to the end and redirect like section 1. Section 3 is not redirecting, but just keeps playing, after watching the first time, it starts playing at 13 seconds and just keeps going…
I just tested again on Chrome & section 1 & 2 – skips to the end and redirects, Sec 3 isn’t redirecting at the end. Checked on firefox and 1 & 2 both work properly and play the video through and then redirect, but section 3 doesn’t redirect.embed code is similar for each:
