    Hi dear foliovision support,
I would like to ask one question about your FV player wordpress plugin.

I have installed your FV Player plugin to my wordpress website and checking how it works.
So far, I like your plugin very much and am thinking to but the pro version as well as VAST.

But before that, I would like to make sure one thing. That is about with elementor.

Please watch the attached gif image I sent you here.
The Presto Player’s elementor wiget is able to pull the custom dynamic video url data.
But FV Player’s elementor widget, I did not find the way to pull the custom dynamic video url.

    Would you tell me,
Is FV Player`s elementor widget able to pull the custom dynamic video url? Just like Presto Video player can do?

If you do not get my point, please let me know.
    Thank you for your time.
    Best regards,

    Hello Yochang,

I did use Elementor once for similar functionality. The tricky was to store the whole FV Player shortcode in the custom field and then let it populate the shortcode block – I used “Post Custom Field” in the “Enter your shortcode” field and entered the Custom Key – please check the attached screenshot.

The actual custom field was handled using our Custom video fields: https://foliovision.com/player/developers/video-custom-fields

If you are using a custom post editing interface which then gets displayed using an Elementor template it should work nicely.

    Thanks,
    Martin

    Hi Martin,

First of all, thank you for the explanation.
I pasted the code of ‘Video Custom Fields’ into my theme and was able to display the video on the elementor-built-page.
    But here is the point.
As this method is using ‘Shortcode’ widget at elementor and NOT using the ‘FV Player’ widget, the Videos on the post is being displayed with default wordpress video player. Not with FV video play.
Therefore, I think that would not allow us to intergrate with VAST. Because the video is not displayed with the ‘FV Player’ widget.

My goal is to display Ads within the video, and that video should be displayed with Elementor dynamic method.
But the method you suggested would not be able to intergrate with VAST as video is being displayed NOT with FV Player.
How would you think about it?

If you think the customization I would like to do is possible, I am happy to pay for this customization for sure.
But before that, I just would like to makre sure whether you think it is technically possbile or not.
If you think you do not understand my point clearly, please let me know about it.
I appreciate your investigation and your time.

    Thank you.
    Best regards,

Sorry, I made spell mistake within my previous comment.

    Wrong:
… , the Videos on the post is being displayed with default wordpress video player. Not with FV video play.

    Correct:
… , the Videos on the post is being displayed with default wordpress video player. Not with FV Player.

    Hello Yochang,

the trick is to store the whole [fvplayer…] shortcode in that custom field. Perhaps you only put in the video link.

If you would like to make adding that custom field easier, then these Custom video fields will let you do exactly that: https://foliovision.com/player/developers/video-custom-fields

We are happy to take care of this for you if you order our Make Your Theme work with Video: https://foliovision.com/downloads/making-player-theme

    Thanks,
    Martin
