Hi
I’ve finally placed the player in our home page. It plays videos from a youtube playlist.
Now it’s time to provide it a better style, like other players does.
Does it exists a css library, or some samples to take inspiration?
Moreover I need a different style when displayed on mobile or desktop: the list of videos should be on he right side when desktop, and next prev when mobile (but if there are some samples from the vendor I can, again, take inspiration)

Hello Fabio,
thank you for the suggestion, I see that the vertical playlist would be more compact on mobile if it would change to next/prev arrows. We need to improve that.
Do you have any other improvements or model websites in mind?

We are still working on improving playlist styles. I have a proposal for you. Could you provide us with screenshots of what you want? In which case, we could build it for you as custom code at a special rate. That way you get exactly the style you want and we move our playlist styling forward.

for the moment I can survive. I have overwritten the CSS and now the player looks acceptable.You should really take in consideration to improve the playlist style with:
1) resposiveness: how the mobile should present a youtube list of (e.g.) 50 videos?
2) captions: to show labels above the thumbnail, it would allow to show more info in the same player space + possibility to show other info like: published date, duration
3) better look and feel: the current one looks like a draft versionregards

Thanks for your notes. It’s very helpful. We’ll definitely look into the performance issues. Adding captions is a real pandora’s box but yes, captions should be available and hidden in the html for someone to be able to add them to their playlists.
Look and feel. I agree. Playlists should be much sexier. If you’d like to do some further work on the design and with screenshots, we can implement them as you like.

One sugestion for playlists: caption in the main video. All videos in the list has captions, but not the main video. I think is little strange.

I wonder what improvements we could make to the next/prev arrows playlist style to make it more attractive.

Hi Martin,
I’d say the caption should be available underneath the video for people to make visible if they want. We should hide it by default though.
