Hey Guys,
We’re having a setting conflict of sorts where we are unable to make a Youtube Video display responsively on mobile unless we use the default Youtube Splash Screen.
It appears to be dependent on the setting: Handle WordPress [video] shortcodes: …and also the YouTube links
When we have this setting checked the mobile versions of the videos display correctly sized, but we cannot use any other video thumbnail.
When we have this setting unchecked the mobile versions of the videos have the correct thumbnail, but come through at an odd size that none of the other settings seem to affect.
I’m attaching a screenshot of both examples. We’re hoping to make the videos display the correct size on mobile, while also pulling in the correct thumbnail.

Hello Matt,
if you leave that checkbox unchecked you are seeing the default YouTube embed code which is not responsive on its own (although FV Player has some code in it to make such iframes responsive). You can tell that by the red YouTube play button.
If you enable that checkbox, make sure you also setup the Google Developer API key as that is the only way FV Player can fetch the splash screen from YouTube reliably: https://foliovision.com/player/video-hosting/youtube-with-fv-player#Connecting-with-Google

Once we connected that API the video’s came through at the correct size with the correct thumbnail.
