Dear all,
I just bought your FV Pro Player because for one specific reason: Having a HTML5 Player on my WP page for enabling the function “Disable StickyVideo when Video is not played (works only with HTML5 Players)”.
A) Now:
1) I installed FV Pro, embedded a Vimeo video (access token generated) = everything that is related to FV works fine.
2) I activated plugin StickyVideo (https://wordpress.org/plugins/sticky-video-free-edition/) and on the post where I embedded a video via FV Pro, StickyVideo does not work at all.
3) On any other post/page where videos are embedded via normal iFrame, StickyVideo works but gets displayed also when video is on pause (= because it is not a HTML5 player).B) Questions:
1) Do you know of any incompatibilities or tweaks that FVP + SV would work together?
2) Wouldn’t it be an idea that FVP has an own “sticky” option with various functions to choose.Thanks for any hint.

Hi Dan,
I tried the plugin and it didn’t work with FV Player. It seems that Sticky Video supports only the hostings listed on their plugin page on WordPress.org and doesn’t support any third-party players.
We could do some more testing when our senior programmer returns from his vacation in two weeks.

That is bad luck because I bought FV Player specifically for having a HTML5 Player for being able using the “paused” function together with StickyVideo.
Well, I learned to like FVP in this very short time a much so no harm here.But a thought: Probably you can think about integrating a sticky function in future as this is really very helpful when having longer articles/posts and people want to scroll the content while letting the video play…

Thanks for the appreciation! We are always open to custom programming and we could work with you on creating a function similar to Sticky Video. Unfortunately, our senior programmer is on a (well deserved) vacation for the next two weeks, so it would have to wait untill then. But as I said, if you don’t mind to wait, we’ll be happy to work with you.

No worries re vacation of your senior programmer, great he has some time off. I am puttering on my website with the video functionality since months so another 2-3 weeks before taking a decision about the next step is not really a problem.
Everything will be of course dependant of cost-benefit equation but this is a discussion we start leading via PM or email.
