Dynamically set video URL

Hello,

I have been searching on the forum, docs and Google before asking but I haven’t found the solution. I need to have a set player but to set the video URL dynamically either a URL parameter or setting it via javascript. Do you have any documentation about such a thing?

For more context, what I need is to have people visit a given page but then set through some means, either server-side or front-end scripting, which specific video to play. I hope this makes sense?
