As I am changing my entire website to move from the standard Vimeo player to the FVplayer, it would be great to be able to specify adefaultfolderfor splash images.
They now all are placed in the wp-content/uploads/… folder.
As there are many video’s, but also many other posts with images, I would like to sort these.
It would be great to set a default folder for the splash images to go into.
e.g. wp-content/uploads/splashIs/would that be possible?

Did you download all your images from Vimeo into a single folder and are you looking for a way of showing matching splash screens easily?
Please provide some example of the FV Player video data before and after the migration. We have to be sure that whatever we put in can stay in FV Player core for a long time. Maybe all you need is a bit of custom code.

Thank you for your response.The example is fairly simple. When I create another FVPlayer entry, the still (splash image) ends up in the default wp-content/uploads folder.
As I have many videos, I would like to store all splash images separate (preferably a different folder) from other images that I use for my website. This is just an optimization but it woud help keeping my own uploads separate from the FVPlayer splash screens.

Yes, the files would be kept in a separate folder on your server, however it would not help with Media Library in WordPress. All the FV Player splash screen images would remain mixed with the images which you post to your articles. Unfortunately WordPress does not let us separate them easily.
