My latest question: How can I set up videos to, instead of pausing on click, click-through to a different website? Also, will the click-through rate show up on Google Analytics?

Hi Mike,
Do you mean that you can have a custom video (like an ad) before a normal video and when a viewer clicks the video he is redirected to a website? Let me know so I can give you more instructions.
There is no special rate to track click through rate in Google analytics. But you will see the increase in number of views that are closely related to tracking click through.

I think we’re actually going to just implement click-through on a hyperlink below the video. However! Now that I have you on the line, I’d like to ask you another question: how can I add a custom image and text over video content that says “click for sound,” and then unmutes the video when clicked?
For context, we are running autoplay videos on our website which serve purpose of ads within content. It runs muted on autoplay. People obviously have the option to raise the volume on the control bar, but we’d like to make it even easier to unmute the video.
Here’s what I envision: clicking the video would unmute it.
Is this possible within Flowplayer?

we talked some more about your ideas.
Having the autoplayed video open a website on click would be annoying as people try to pause that video by clicking it. We suggest that you use our basic ad functionality to add a link which shows up above the video: https://foliovision.com/player/adding-ads
So it your partner wants to promote a new product, you can then insert something like: “Click here to learn more about XYZ product” and have it link to the partner website.
You can add the Google Analytics Campaign tracking URL parameters to it easily: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1033867?hl=en
I’m not sure if the Google Analytics outbound link tracking will work though, as we insert the ad code dynamically on the video start. We have to do it like that for dynamic ad units which require to be loaded only if they actually show up and can’t be loaded into a hidden element on website.
